This book deals with overview of Staad Pro environment i.e. explanation of components of staad pro screen, model generation and performing analysis and design. The STAAD input file can be created through a text editor or the GUI Modeling facility. In the early versions of STAAD such as STAAD-III, model is generated through input editor only. In general, any text editor may be utilized to edit/create the STD input file. The GUI Modeling facility creates the input file through an interactive menu-driven graphics oriented procedure.
